The Price of Being Homeless

This person's legs is so bitten up by bugs, I can't fathom what it's like to be at the mercy of the elements and environment. Which brings up the point of posting squeamish photos. Are photos of this nature crossing the line or should photographers feel free to post what they see?

Location: First Avenue and 21st Street (NYC).

I have asked the same question myself. And such question is valid for books and authors as well. Take, for example, Stephen King, who has produced tons of "horror fiction" books and has been pretty high rated from the public (not my favorite). Still the question is, is there a line to cross, and how can we define it. For the most part, I think photographers should be free to post their photographs even if the subject is "crossing the line". Your photograph is a true representation of our world, not a fiction.
